Project weststraat

Project on the Weststraat in Den Helder, where the home owners are working towards a full electric heating solution. Our design team drafted a multi-staged approach which included solar panels, battery storage and a heat pump. 

Placement of the heat pump needed to done in a confined space as the garden was relatively small. Placement of a buffervat, microbuble seperator, valves and circulation pump all needed to be fitted under the staircase.

For this project a LG Monoblock was selected with an OEG buffervat, Grundfoss circulation pump and Callefi filters.

Heatpump is placed on fibration dampeners, which had to be shortened because of the limited space. Normally the dampeners protrude 30cm in the front and the back of the heatpump (1 meter total length). If this heatpump was placed in an area that would sustain heavy winds, then another solution would be required (concrete slab, with nuts and polts on a rubber cushion).

For this 4 story building a 14KW LG monoblock Therma V was selected as the ground floor was already renovated with foam concrete and a underfloor heating in anhydrite.
